Kelly and Conor were married on 14th October 2017 at St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry before hosting their reception at Harvey’s Point, Donegal.
I actually photographed Conor’s brother Jon Paul’s wedding last Christmas and Conor was in my year at school. Plus, I caught up with Kelly and Conor at their engagement shoot at Kinnagoe Bay, Donegal, so when it came to the day, I felt like I already knew everyone.
Following the ceremony, we stopped at Barons Moore Gap for some pretty cool photos by the river. The couple proved to be legends, braving the Donegal rain and never complaining! The outcome was spectacular, with some unique additions to their wedding album.
The details of the wedding were pretty amazing. The cake was created by the mother of one of the bridesmaids. The flower detailing was epic, considering it was all handcrafted out of icing.
Kelly’s love for 80’s music was carried throughout the day. When I arrived at the house, Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’ was spinning on the turntable at full blast out of the stereo. Plus, their first dance was an 80’s mix of ‘Wicked Game’ and ‘This Charming Man’.
At the end of the night, the couple had a sparkler send off, which turned into a Harry Potter tribute to Dumbledore when a few people thought they were wands!
Congratulations Kelly & Conor! Here’s to an epic future together.
